Hi Chris! Not sure if there is an updated version for 2024 but this method isn't working for me. I have a 24fps sequence and 60fps footage. I already made proxies and right clicked to change duration to 40%. When dropping into timeline, it plays really choppy still. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Good Video...However, I wish there was a tutorial that explained how, when amending or customising MOGRTS you can save that MOGRT place it ' Somewhere ' so you can drag it easily into a new project. Putting it simply, I spent some time making my own company logo by customising an imported MOGRT. I wish to use this MOGRT on many future projects but as it stands, for each project I have to recreate my MOGRT which is very time consuming and Surly there must be a way of importing a saved customised MOGRT ? Any help would be appreciated.

I have some digital files converted from Super8mm color films (1975) with frame width 720 and height 576 data rate 28810kbps, total bitrate 30346kbps, frame rate 25.00 fps (PAL DV format?). No Audio. How do I set the sequence in Premiere Pro CS6 to edit, add audio and export to view on TV screens and UA-cam?

As someone who worked in software engineering for many years and in IT in general for more than that, it boggles my mind that Adobe can't make an update smooth by just pulling over customizations from the previous version.

4:25 All video formats are compressed, except for a very few, but those are more or less unusable for video editing. So, any pro format, like DNxHR, DNxHD and ProRes are compressed. And these pro formats are usually many times bigger, than e.g. h.264, not just 4 times. They have a fixed bitrate, while h.264 and 265 can have their bitrate set to various numbers.

what if you are archiving a production? if i bring it back to a new drive at a later date will it be screwed up due to the displacement of the .prodset file

Is there a limit to how many layers can be nested. I have 14 layers but regardless of what I select it only nests 10 layers.

Its not 265 sucks, this guys editing workflow and knowledge sucks, no you dont need fancy CPUs and no you dont need to proxy it, but you do need to understanf how to edit well and export with your NLE. His first problem is using premier and explaining jt with Intra or Inter.

My computer plays 4:2:0 10bit H.265 (Long GOP) just fine with GPU acceleration. As good as All-I codec. With 3x less file size. All-I codec in my Sony a7 IV is irrelevant. Also you mentioned in the video IPB or long log has to be h.264. This is wrong, h.265 can be long gop as well.

So I should upload Cineform to youtube instead of H.264/265? I have horrendous Banding when exporting those formats in Davinci Resolve, so I'm trying to figure out how to optimize for youtube.

Thanks so much for a great video! I was actually wondering about exporting finished video clips also. Do you find there is any advantage to EXPORTING in H.265 or ProRes 422? Once a video is already edited, the 265 would just take up less space on your HD, but is there an image quality loss?

Yet another reason to question any answer given by lonely shut ins that answer questions on adobe forms. Thank you!
